Information
At many points in the ATM International Terminal, there are flight information
monitors showing detailed information about all flights to and from the
terminal. Furthermore, there are information desks in the departure and arrival
lounges of the terminal for the express purpose of informing visitors,
answering their questions and solving their problems. Announcements in the
terminal are made in four languages, considering that the majority of
passengers are from different countries. There are also mobile Terminal
Officers at the ATM International Terminal at the gate, and before the passport
control points, directing the passengers and helping to solve any problems that
might arise.
Luggage Trolleys
Luggage trolley units at
international standards are managed by Simtur. The units can be found in front
of the passenger entrance to the ATM terminal, luggage claiming halls and the
car park. Usage fees for the luggage trolleys is 1 EURO.
Baby Care Rooms
Babycare rooms, next to the
toilets, are organized to enable mothers to easily take care of their babies
and see to their every need.
Places of Worship
At the arrival level of the ATM
Dalaman International Terminal there are rooms set aside as small mosques with
ablution facilities. The chapel and the synagogue will be in service at the end
of the year.
Telephones
Public telephones can be used with telephone cards, credit cards or koç.net
phone cards. There are public telephones in many parts of the terminal.
Internet
Internet services in the ATM Dalaman International Terminal are supplied by Koc-Net.
Passengers can wirelessly connect to the internet from any point in the
terminal. The "netpass cards" needed for the connection are sold at
the info desks for a small fee.
Post Office
The post office is located on the
right of the departing passengers entrance to the Terminal.
Car Park
ATM Dalaman International
Terminal car park is in front of the terminal building, and has a capacity of
950 vehicles. The parking lot is being supervised by state-of-the-art equipment
to ensure safety.
Tax Return (Tax Free)
Passengers who do not reside in
Turkey can get back the Value Added Tax they pay on items they purchase. The
tax return declaration has to be submitted before check-in procedures in the
departure lounge. Tax Free cheques are validated by going to the Customs Inspection
Offices in the departure lounge of the terminal and submitting the
invoice/cheque together with the passport. Customs officials are knowledgable
about the Tax Free system.
Passport Control
Passengers can realize passport
control procedures in 20 control cabins right after disembarking from the
aeroplane. The luggage pick-up area and the duty free shops are accessible
right after the passport controls.

Luggage is tracked from check-in
to the actual loading onto the plane with optical scanners, and the passenger -
luggage pairing is done automatically.
Receiving Counters
Receiving counters have been put
into service to ease the workflow of arriving pssengers and tour operators, and
enable arriving passengers to be directed easily to the transport vehicles
belonging to the tour they have joined.
Automatic Check-in
While the terminal enforces
stringent security measures, the speedy completion of procedures for passengers
has also been considered. 4,000 passengers per hour can be processed through 60
check-in counters, and 5,000 pieces of luggage handled. Check-in services are
carried out automatically with the LDCS software. Accordingly, passengers
arriving at the terminal to fly to various destinations in Europe reach the
passport control points in the shortest time possible. Procedures are completed
in a short time at the 20 passport control cabins, and passengers can go
through to the shopping and waiting areas.
Luggage Services
The most up-to-date and safe
luggage systems are being used at the Dalaman International Terminal. With this
system that eliminates the risk of luggage lost for mechanical reasons,
passengers check in and pick up their luggage safely, both on arrival and at
departure. Luggage is tracked from check-in to the actual loading onto the
plane with optical scanners, and the passenger - luggage pairing is done
automatically.
Departure
Our disabled passengers can use the wheelchairs of the ground services. Ground
services personnel escort and aid the disabled passenger all the way to the
plane.
Arrival
Either the airline or the tour operators must warn the ground services
personnel before a disabled passenger arrives at the terminal. If the passenger
does not have a wheelchair, ground services personnel will provide a
wheelchair. Airport ground services personnel will assist the passenger from
the moment his plane touches down at the terminal. At the airport arrivals
area, there is an elevator for diabled persons. Ground services personnel will
assist and escort disabled passengers to the receiving counters.
Wheelchairs
The wheelchair requests of Incoming or Outgoing visitors will be met by the
ground services.
